Anyone who loves cheese and co. Is in the right place ... for every taste from Äppelwoi to beer to red wine cheese ... chilli, horse pepper, caraway ... flower cheese ... everything is delicious. In addition, delicious cheese mustards: fig, paprika and much more. The linseed oils ... garlic etc. are also great, as are pasta chutneys or savory and sweet spreads. All regional producers. Great shop, friendly service ... I always like to come back and recommend the Hungener Käsescheune with great pleasure

All cheese here ... and what kind! I had a really great brunch here (before Corona). Definitely to be recommended.

We were there for the first time and will definitely be back. Very nice and competent advice, very tasty products and the best cheese vondue we have ever eaten!

Classics of the cheese kitchen such as cheese platter or cheese foam soup and other offers such as Wiener Schnitzel or braised beef cheeks, not exactly cheap, often a bit incomprehensible pricing (why does a really simple dish like Käsespätzle cost 14.50 €) but always a nice preparation that always meets your high demands .

Thumbs up for ambience, food, service, boss and cook. I just feel good here. For our wedding, we received delicious and, if desired, a little more unusual snacks for our standing reception delivered directly to the garden. Highly recommended!

Very stylish and a great concept. Next to the sales room is a small restaurant and the cheese dairy. You can also book small events there. So we went to a cheese seminar, made cheese ourselves and ate it deliciously. Anyone who is in Hungen should stop by there. And those who are not there can also order delicious cheese online.

The Kässpatzen were not hot and had to be really heated first. Service was ok. Nice atmosphere and good cheese counter ???

Cheese school with tapas - guided production of a feta-like cheese interrupted with small tapas (cheese soup, lamb ragout, salmon on potato mash, cheesecake ice cream) followed by a guided tour / explanation of the cheese dairy and the "shepherd museum" with cheese tasting. Very informative, entertaining evening with delicious food. The cheese and other specialties of the region can be purchased in the own gourmet shop or online (sausage, bread, honey, chutneys, etc.)

Unfortunately not a good experience in the Hungener Made cheese barn. Unfriendly staff Food was fine for a cheese barn simple and overpriced. Same thing at the cheese counter, employee cannot cut off small pieces of cheese I should take the packaged pieces. One cheese was so ripe that it reached it my car around the corner back to the cheese barn wanted to run back. To exchange or refund was not to think about.

We were there for the second time, this time for the cheese seminar with Hessen Tapas, and were completely thrilled. A very entertaining evening with a lot of information about cheese production, great food, an overwhelming cheese tasting. The absolute highlight was of course the in-house cheese-making, the product could be taken home at the end. Highly recommended, both the restaurant and the seminar and the in-house shop!

Very nicely located and stylishly furnished shop restaurant. The employee is nice and knows what she is talking about. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Nice little rustic restaurant in d. Old town (also with patio), the main focus of which is on its own and also very extensive cheese production (show dairy incl.), But of course there are also other delicious things to eat. The numerous products of the company's own production can also be purchased in umpteen variants to take away, even if the special has always been a little more expensive. But if you are not only looking for 'the usual', you are guaranteed to find it here.

I can not say anything about it, because all tables were booked up to 1 hour. But then I strongly assume that it has to be good. The cheese I bought tastes good anyway. So try it yourself. ?
